Gas instantaneous (continuous flow) HWU
Instantaneous hot water systems are a great choice and usually are our default recommendation in most circumstances. You cant go wrong with never ending hot water and cheap running costs. Must comply with certain gas requirements at your property such as pipe sizing, location and ventilation.
Gas Storage Hot Water System
Storage hot water units whilst not as good as continuous flow systems still provides you with reliable service but the amount of hot water you will get is limited by its tank storage size. There are many options for what storage sizes are available though. Also must comply with gas requirements at your property.
Electric Instantaneous (continuous flow) HWU
Electric instantaneous hot water systems work very differently to gas and generally are alot more expensive to run. Flow rate is also an issue that must be considered when deciding what instantaneous unit is best as the amount of power supplied to the unit will effect this. Sometimes 3 phase power is needed.

Electric storage hot water systems are very common in Perth and can be interconnected to solar panels for back up if required. Running costs may differ from varying models depending on the energy efficiency of each individual unit. A star rating system can be used to determine running costs when selecting your HWU.
Heat Pumps Hot Water Solutions
Hot water heat pumps work in the same way your air-conditioner works but they heat water instead. Initial intallation costs may be higher then more traditional units though the overall running costs over the lifetime of the unit may be significnanlty cheaper. Separate boiling water fixture taps such as zip units can be a good addition to your home or commercial property. No need to put the kettle on to boil when you have instant boiling water available at your kitchen sink when needed. These taps can also provide chilled and carbonated water if needed.
